Flute Lessons
I teach both virtual and in-person lessons to students age 8 through adults.

BALTIMORE, MD based: I trained at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and Oberlin Conservatory. I'm currently the Music Director at the Bryn Mawr School, Flutist in the ensemble Duo Sila, and founder of the online school Virtual Woodwind Academy. Playing flute is at the center of everything I love to do!
My teaching approach centers around empowerment and confidence-building. I believe that when you have all the tools you need to be your own best teacher, you can truly achieve WHATEVER you want!
My students have been accepted into area youth orchestras, All State, honor bands, won seating placement auditions, booked paid gigs, and impressed their friends and family.

and random fun fact...
I have a degree in biology as well two degrees in flute performance! So... I love to use a bit of a scientific approach in my teaching style. I always seek to answer the question "why" and come up with well-thought-out solutions for anything you want or need to work on :)
